Accommodation

Your accommodation is booked at the Hotel Sympatia, as indicated above.

FAO will directly pay for your accommodation during your stay in Tbilisi. Personal expenses such as the use of minibar, telephone calls and faxes should be paid by each participant, and are not covered by FAO.

Daily subsistence allowance

FAO will provide daily subsistence allowance according to its regulation. The payment will be made during the Workshop. Therefore, it is advisable that you take enough cash with you.

Arrival at Tbilisi Airport (entry visa and transportation to hotel)

Entry visa to Georgia

Most participants do not need an entry visa to Georgia. However, it is advisable to check with the Embassy/Consulate of Georgia in your country. If you have any troubles with your entry to the country, please inform the passport control officer to contact the following FAO officer or the staff of the Georgian Forestry Department.

Transit visa

It is your responsibility to apply and obtain a transit visa , while FAO will reimburse the cost for the visa with an official invoice from the embassy/consulate. Please contact the respective embassy/consulate locally to obtain a transit visa before your departure.

Transportation to hotel

There will be a shuttle bus and staff from the hotel waiting for you at the airport, holding a signboard with your name.
