Sub-regional workshop on policy and strategies related to urban and peri-urban horticulture

29 June 2006, Maputo/Mozambique - 40 Delegates from 16 member countries of the SADC have come to participate in the sub-regional workshop on policy and strategies related to urban and peri-urban horticulture organized by the Government of Mozambique with technical support from FAO and financial support from the Government of Norway. The workshop will take place on Tuesday the 4th - Friday the 7th July 2006 and it will aim at strengthening capacity on policy and strategy for UPH development and consolidate Regional Cooperation in SADC and other African countries.
