Agricultural Education, Extension and Communication Unit

The priorities of the RAF include policy advice, strategy and programme development to promote agricultural education, extension and in-service training. During the last decade, a number of regional workshops and seminars involving most of the member countries were organized through PWB funds to strengthen extension systems and formal and informal agricultural institutions in order to increase food production, narrow the food gap, promote food security, and improve agricultural sustainability and environmental protection.
