Forestry Outlook Study for Africa (FOSA)

This activity is implemented in partnership with the European Commission and the African Development Bank, with the participation of several sub-regional and regional organisations. Its objective is to undertake an in-depth study of the forestry sector in Africa, analyse its weaknesses, driving forces and trends to the year 2020. The results of this study will be essential for guiding member countries, international and regional banks, bilateral agencies and the private sector for future investment decision-making in the forestry sector.
