The library of the regional office contains a collection of over
50 000 publications dealing with development related issues. Situated in the compound of the
FAO regional office in the Maliwan Mansion, the library is open
to the public from 07.30 to 15.45 hours. Maliwan Mansion was built in 1917 as a
residence for Prince Nares and designed by the Italian architect Ercole Manfredi.
