Yunga-UN

University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC)

USAC Viterbo (University Studies Abroad Consortium) joined the YUNGA project in 2015. The USAC students enrich their study abroad experience by going to various schools in the town and involving the Italian students in the badge activities to raise awareness on issues such as climate change and biodiversity.

Since the project started, more than 200 students, divided into 3 different schools, have been involved. At the end of their ‘in-class’ activity, the USAC and the Italian students visit the FAO premises in Rome to talk about what they learned and the importance of sustainable development and the correct relationship with the planet’s natural resources.

The USAC-YUNGA project is a growing initiative that will involve other USAC programmes in the world to teach young generations how to improve our future.
