Distribute animal treatments, feed and supplements, targeting in particular herders whose movements are restricted. It may also be necessary to consider provision of water through bladder water tanks or water standpoints.
Support livelihood diversification to mitigate the impact on livestock production.
The ability of pastoralists and herders who relay on mobility to access pasture and grazing lands could also be restricted, which will have a direct impact on FSN of this livelihood group, as well as undermine already precarious pastoralist livelihoods.
