Stock the pond with 10–15 cm (4“–6”) of healthy fingerlings.
Follow the correct procedure for releasing the fingerlings.
Fish feed is the most expensive input in fish culture, although it promise much higher production and profit. Prior to stocking you must decide yourself whether you will be able to provide supplementary feed for the fish or not. In case, you can provide daily supplementary feed in addition to daily manuring, stock the fish as per the following table.
