The consultant regrets that the time available for the consultation in Zambia was rather short, in fact too short for a proper evalution of the problems cited in the terms of reference. This work would not have been possible without the help of local staff, officials of the Fisheries Department, FAO and ALCOM, and other people concerned with fisheries met in the field.
