10. The Council welcomed the innovative approach that had been followed in preparing the Calendar of FAO Governing Bodies and Other Main Sessions for 2000-2001 through a joint programming exercise with IFAD and WFP. It was expected that this approach would facilitate attendance by Permanent Representatives accredited to these organizations at the various meetings of their Governing Bodies and other main sessions.

The Council also extended its best wishes to other officers of the Organization who would be retiring between the present Session and that in November 2000.
14. The Council agreed to convene its Hundred and Nineteenth Session from 20 to 25 November 2000.
