The Development Planning Service (FIPP) of the FAO Fisheries Department is the lead unit for the preparation of "The State of World Fisheries and Aquaculture", published bi-annually by the Fisheries Department. This document regularly includes a section dedicated to the outlook for the aquaculture sector. This study, carried out between October 2003 and April 2004, provides information for this section.
