The implementation of nfp in Sudan could perhaps be described as any thing but poor. On the contrary, and in spite of many constraints as was highlighted in parts 3 and 4, the overall performance is more than satisfactory. This is a summation of the entire spectrum of components from the realistic initial proposal to institutional/legislative/administrative support through government commitment and human resources development.
Teething problems like the conflict between the Federal Government and state governments over the sharing of responsibility for and revenue from forests will eventually be overcome.
