A.G. NGONGI NAMANGA (Cameroon): I have pleasure to present the name of Ambassador C. Ntsane of Lesotho for one of the posts of Vice-Chairman of the Council. We all know Ambassador Ntsane; he has been very active here at FAO. He has been attending various Committee meetings and he has participated at various Committee meetings actively, especially on the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes where he has made very useful contributions. I am sure Ambassador Ntsane will be able to help you in discharging your duties at this Council Session.
J. TCHICAYA (Congo): Monsieur le Président, je n'avais pas demandé la parole, mais puisque vous me la donnez je voudrais dire que j'appuie la proposition faite par le délégué du Cameroun pour proposer au poste de vice-président l'Ambassadeur du Lesotho M. Ntsane.

BULA HOYOS (Colombia): La delegación de Colombia se complace en apoyar la propuesta hecha por el colega y amigo del Camerún ya refrendada por el distinguido Embajador del Congo, No obstante la brevedad de este período de sesiones estamos seguros que el Embajador de Lesotho Sr. Chaka Ntsane será un eficaz colaborador suyo.

H. HERNANDEZ CARABAÑO (Venezuela): Para apoyar la proposición que se ha hecho y también para tener el privilegio de proponer la candidatura del representante del Ecuador D. José Luis Tamayo para una de las Viecepresidencias, que además de sus credenciales personales ejerce en la actualidad la Presidencia del Grupo Latinoamericano ante la FAO.
