FAO/GIEWS: Africa Report No.1 - April 2004 p.18
Cereal production is expected to fall for the second consecutive year, due to mass population displacements and seeds shortages resulting from the civil war. Cereal import requirement in 2004 is forecast at 46 000 tonnes, mostly wheat.
