NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF CHILDREN UNDER SIX
Using the bracelets made in the Family and Nutrition module, evaluate the nutritional status of the children in the community.
Instructions
1. |
Take the child's arm and bend it. |
2. |
Determine the middle point between the elbow and the shoulder. |
3. |
Wrap the bracelet around the arm in the middle and cheek the colour. |
4. |
If it's red, the child is malnourished. . |
If it's yellow, the child is in danger of malnourishment | |
If it's green, the child is normal. | |
5. |
Write down the information. |
6. |
Add up all the children, separating them by nutritional status. For example: |
