239. Mr. G. Weill (France), on behalf of the Codex Alimentarius
Commission, expressed the appreciation of the Commission and of its
Members to the retiring Chairman, Mr. J.H.V. Davies (United
Kingdom). The Commission gave Mr. Davies a standing ovation for
his leadership and active support of the Commission since its establishment
in 1962.
