There are great national differences in educational resources in the region. Malaysia reported adequate resources in most aspects of the teaching infrastructure. In contrast, Lao institutions have inadequate resources, facilities and funding in almost every respect of forestry education.
Institutions in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia reported adequate teaching aids. Only institutions in Vietnam have sufficient donor support. However, it should be noted that there are significant differences between institutions within a country.
