ELECTION OF OFFICERS (Item 3)

7. In accordance with its Rules of Procedure, the Commission elected a Chairman, two Vice-Chairmen and one Rapporteur. The composition of the Bureau was as follows:

Chairman: Mr. Louis Lahoud Lahoud (Lebanon)

Vice-Chairmen: Mr. Abdu Gassim Al Assiri (Saudi Arabia)

Mr. Tamer Otrakcier (Turkey)

Rapporteur: Mr. Alexandros Christodoulou (Cyprus)

8. Mr. Hassan Abdel Nour, Senior Forestry Officer, FAO Regional Office for the Near East, served as Secretary of the Commission.
