Journal of forestry

The Journal, official organ of the Society of American Foresters, is a professional magazine devoted to all branches of technical forestry. It is published monthly for, and by, practicing foresters. The editor is assisted in selecting material by a group of associate editors. each a specialist in his field: wildlife management, genetics and artificial regeneration, management and engineering, range management, economics and policy, pathology and entomology, mensuration, silviculture, watershed management, wood utilization. and forest fires.

In addition to publishing articles which deal with the science and practice of forestry, chiefly in the United States, the Journal includes book reviews, forestry news, and Society activities.

Subscription price of the Journal of Forestry to non members of the Society, libraries. and organizations is $7.50 per year in the United States, $8.00 in Canada, and $8.50 elsewhere.

FOREST SCIENCE

A quarterly publication of forestry research, Forest Science was designed to bring together technical papers of interest to research workers, teachers, and administrators. Forestry research and educational organizations co-operate with the Society- of American Foresters in its publication. The editorial work is directed by a board of three men representing educational and research fields and the Society.

Subscription price for Forest Science is $6.00 with an additional postage fee of $0.2.5 for Canadian subscribers and $0.50 for those in foreign countries.
