6. Comparative bottom trawling

As in the two previous surveys of the joint zone some hauls were worked at approximately the same positions during day and night. Catch rates by main groups for the respective stations are shown in Table 10. Only the pelagic forms show a marked reduced catch rate during night. As is well known some of the shrimps have increased catchability at night.
