The meeting discussed and agreed on the most important follow-up actions that could be initiated on the basis of the present report:
a. Preparation of a pamphlet (brochure) on the main results obtained from this meeting and with an indication of the Plan of Action for development of statistical methodology for root and tuber crops;
b. Preparation of guidelines for immediate use on methodology for collecting statistics on root and tuber crops, based on the papers presented and on the discussions held during the Expert Consultation;
c. Preparation of a CD-ROM with the report of the meeting, a complete set of the papers presented with abstracts in English and French, existing background documentation and other relevant materials.
