Webinars on animal health research agendas

09 October 2015 - On 13 October, two presentations on animal health research agendas will be web-streamed and made accessible to those interested (both live and as a recorded version). The session is part of the 3-day LinkTADs workshop on laboratory issues in Vienna, and will include talks on the following topics:

  • 9:00-9:40 - STAR-IDAZ: Global Coordination of Animal Disease Research 
    Speaker: Alex Morrow (Defra, UK)
  • 9:40-10:20 - Improving opportunities for collaborative research in animal health between EU and China: Horizon 2020 (2014-2020) and opportunities in the field of animal health for 2016-2017
    Speakers: Luis Vivas-Alegre & Johanna Trieb, DG RTD, EC

The webinars are organized by LinkTADs, a three-year initiative coordinated by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and funded by the European Commission’s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) to coordinate European and Chinese research on animal health.
