Help participants from developing countries attend the Congress

The success of the XIV World Forestry Congress depends on it being inclusive, participatory and innovative as well as ensuring a balanced participation from developed and developing countries. We appreciate support to enable forestry experts, particularly women and students, from developing and least-developed countries to participate in the Congress, making a direct contribution to Congress sessions as key note speakers or by presenting case studies, and sharing their experiences and ideas with the entire forestry community. Your financial support will help enrich the content of the Congress and the dialogue among participants, and will ultimately be an investment in the capacity of foresters in developing countries.

Support youth engagement

The Congress provides a unique platform to engage in discussion and to define solutions for the future of forests and young generations. The Youth Organizing Committee is looking for support to achieve three concrete goals: enable the physical presence of at least 50 young people at the Congress, set up training and learning opportunities, and establish an online global mentoring programme as a legacy project of the Congress.
