首席统计师办公室

首席统计师办公室负责全面协调和管理粮农组织在总部以及区域和国家办事处的数据统计工作。该办公室为负责数据采集、汇编和传播的技术部门提供指导，以确保全组织层面数据和统计工作的质量和一致性。

OCS plays a quality assurance role in the development of methods and standards for food and agriculture data and statistics and in the provision of technical assistance and capacity development to member countries.

The Office is also leading the Organization’s work to monitor the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) indicators under FAO custodianship.

协调数据统计工作

首席统计师担任数据协调小组的秘书，该小组是全组织有关统计数据和统计事项的最高决策机构，主要职能是批准和颁布有关统计的内部政策、流程和标准；监督有利于本组织及其利益相关方的数据和统计战略优先重点；并确保其实施与适用的总体数据政策、原则、联合国各倡议以及粮农组织的总体计划重点保持一致。数据协调小组由首席经济学家以管理层数据工作负责人的身份担任主席，并由粮农组织高级管理层中负责数据相关政策和计划的人员组成。

首席统计师同时担任技术数据协调小组主席，该小组是数据协调小组的技术部门，负责促进各部门在数据和统计计划方面的合作，批准各种方法和共同概念框架，并确保全组织标准的实施。它由粮农组织内部与数据和统计资料收集、处理、分析和传播有关的所有部门的代表组成，包括粮农组织各区域办事处的代表。

职责

监督粮农组织负责监管的可持续发展目标指标的制定和验证工作。
规划、审查、批准和监测两年度统计工作计划。
与战略、计划及预算办公室合作，开展针对粮农组织结果框架的全组织监测和报告工作。
协调制定数据统计标准和方法，并促进其在全组织的应用。
为粮农组织数据统计流程和产出制定政策并监督其执行；制定质量改善计划。
在外部和内部指导并促进粮农组织的数据统计治理工作。
通过和协调数据统计能力建设举措；促进与其它机构和资源伙伴的合作关系，在数据统计领域开展协作。
