From the Reef to the Desert Contrasting Samoan and Remote Australian Dog Health Programs

Despite massive contrasts in countries, it seems the problems of dog control management are ubiquitous. There is work to be done on all levels – at a village/community level, in research, in education and particularly with governance and funding. Most important is the preservation of the cultural and spiritual significance of dogs to their owners while holistic, respectful and relevant Dog Health Programs are introduced to improve the health and wellbeing of communities on the whole.
