AGORA continues to expand its access to thousands of valuable information resources covering agriculture, fisheries, food, nutrition, and more in public institutions across the world. The knowledge sharing platform now features up to 74,000 total resources encompassing subscription based scientific journals and ebooks with up to 130 publishers’ content included.

With the increase in resources available through AGORA, along with Hinari, OARE, ARDI, and GOALI, Research4Life now boasts up to 205,000 total resources including subscription based scientific journals, major scientific books and other valuable information resources. There are now more than 11,000 registered institutions in low-and middle-income countries with online access to academic and professional peer-reviewed content through AGORA and Research4Life.

This continued expansion to provide organizations with increased free or low-cost access to paywalled scientific literature will help to substantially improve the quality and effectiveness of agricultural research and education in low and medium-income member countries.

Subscription-based journals and major scientific books remain important sources of high-quality scientific information that are crucial in advancing higher education, improving the ability to share findings, and informing public policy decisions. Nearly 40,000 registered users accessed these valuable information resources through AGORA in 2022.

AGORA resources are accessible through the AGORA content portal here: https://agora.research4life.org/.
