The Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí was created as a legal entity of public law, autonomous, governed by the Political Constitution of the State, Law of Higher Education, its Organic Statute and Regulations, to prepare Ecuadorian youth and turn them into professionals, as required by the natural resources of their environment. It is the main university in the north of the province of Manabí. It has an extension of 230 hectares. The Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí Manuel Félix López currently offers 12 undergraduate degrees, 2 in blended mode and 2 online. The Postgraduate Department has 14 master's degree programs approved by the CES, of which 7 are face-to-face, 4 are blended and 3 are online.
