Sociedad Entomológica Argentina (SEA)

Argentina
The Argentine Entomological Society is one of the oldest scientific societies in our country, established in 1925. The SEA promotes activities related to the knowledge and research of insects and arachnids in their various aspects: systematics, ecology, biogeography, cytogenetics, behavior, agricultural pests, medical and veterinary entomology, etc., and maintains a specialized library. It also facilitates communication between entomologists from Argentina and abroad, both professional and amateur.

It currently brings together more than 350 Argentine and international entomologists (Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, the United States, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela).
