  The National Autonomous University of Nicaragua, León joins AGRIS to expand research on climate change, bioeconomy, and food security

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) welcomes the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua, León (UNAN-León) as a new member of the International System for Agricultural Science and Technology (AGRIS).

Founded in 1812, UNAN-León is one of Nicaragua’s most prestigious universities, with a longstanding tradition in education and research. It plays a critical role in addressing the country’s challenges.

As a new data provider to AGRIS, UNAN-León contributes 168 records covering topics such as climate change, bioeconomy, food security, adaptation, and more. Click here to discover more about its research.

Through its participation in AGRIS, UNAN-León’s research will gain global visibility, helping to enhance knowledge sharing and contribute to sustainable solutions for agricultural development worldwide.
