The Transformative Partnership Platform on Agroecology

The Transformative Partnership Platform (TPP) on agroecological approaches to building the resilience of livelihoods and landscapes aims to foster transitions to more sustainable agricultural and food systems. It seeks to do so by accelerating and coordinating the actions of a range of institutions that are already working on agroecology across various scales, contexts, and locations.

TPP works to address key knowledge and implementation gaps to support agroecological transitions. It aims to provide evidence to underpin advocacy and inform policymakers and donors about the environmental and social benefits of agroecological approaches. The TPP Community of Practice on Global Landscapes Forum (GLFx) aims to build a fully inclusive, diverse community that reflects these aims.

TPP partners are committed to working in new, more collaborative and coordinated, ways with each other to help accelerate agroecological transitions. The aim is always to 'add-value' and avoid duplication. The TPP itself will work to facilitate this integration within identified priority areas where progress is particularly needed and will situate its efforts in a series of ‘engagement landscapes’, where knowledge is co-created with local people and National Agricultural Research and Extension Systems (NARES).
