The co-organizers of the Community of Practice on Family Farming and Agroecology in Latin America and the Caribbean are presenting a Capacity Building Program to contribute to the transformation of more efficient, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable agri-food systems for Better production, Better nutrition, a Better environment, and a Better life, leaving no one behind. Through an open and practical dialogue oriented to the specific needs of small-scale and agroecological family farmers, the program will foster the co-creation and sharing of knowledge on the agroecological transformation of production, markets and consumption, and public policies.

The "Cycle of Conversations: Towards an Agroecological Transformation" is based on the concept that the development of agroecological transformation processes implies understanding of the integrality of food systems to improve, in a complementary way, the capacity to produce healthy food. Through the promotion of ecosystems and soil restoration, the conservation of biodiversity, and the mitigation and adaptation to climate change, while maintaining the economic profitability, resilience and strengthening the social fabric of life for the common good of a community or a territory, the "Cycle of Conversations: Towards an Agroecological Transformation" will bring knowledge and successful experiences to generate clarity on agroecological transformation and how to approach it from local experiences to achieve inclusive and fair food systems.

The "Cycle of Conversations’’ is presented by the Community of Practice on Family Farming and Agroecology in Latin America and the Caribbean and its co-organizers: Family Farming Knowledge Platform, Agroecology Knowledge Hub, the Latin American Council for the Social Sciences (CLASCO), Latin American Scientific Society of Agroecology (SOCLA), Public policy and rural development in Latin America Network (Red PP-AL), the Innovation and Impact Network, the Localized Agrifood Systems Network (SIAL Brazil Network).
