Virtual Event ‘’Agroecology and Territorial Development: multiple dimensions of an integrated approach’’ on 15 December 2021

FAO has recently partnered with the organization IN SITU to measure the impact of agroecology through the Tool for Agroecology Performance Evaluation (TAPE) in 60 farms surrounding Rosario City in the State of Santa Fe, Argentina.

The results of that assessment and their connection to public policies for territorial development will be shared in the upcoming event "Agroecology and Territorial Development: multiple dimensions of an integrated approach" jointly organized by IN SITU, FAO, and National University of Rosario, on 15 December 2021, 13.30 - 15.30 hrs. (ART: UTC-3).

The results highlight the differential contribution of agroecological systems to key dimensions such as diversity, resilience, efficiency, income for women and young farmers, soil health, co-creation of knowledge, and circular and solidarity economies.

The event that will be held in Spanish will feature the participation of State and National authorities, Research and Extension Agencies, Private Sector, and Civil Society Organizations.

This work has been financially supported by FAO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean (RLC), with technical support from the TAPE Team, the Scaling up Agroecology Initiative and FAO Argentina
