Join us for our virtual workshop series, “Travel Around the World with Digital FAO and Agro-Informatics,” designed to connect FAO with universities globally and showcase how the use of our digital tools and capabilities is transforming research for our agrifood systems.
Our next stop on this global journey is Stellenbosch University , taking place on 03 October 2025 at 11:00 CEST
This dynamic session will feature live demonstrations of the FAO’s Agro-Informatics Platform and Digital Services Portfolio (DSP), followed by a presentation by students from Stellenbosch University. They will explore precision agriculture in practice: Data-Driven Farm Management, On-Farm Experimentation, and Climate-Smart Canola Research. The session will wrap up with an interactive dialogue between students, professors, and FAO experts.
This initiative reflects FAO’s commitment to youth engagement, empowering education with the transformative capabilities of digital technologies.
