FAO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean

FAO presents systematization of good practices in the Latin American and Caribbean region

12/01/2021

This systematization makes available to national and territorial governments, donors, the private sector, civil society, academia and the FAO teams themselves a portfolio of FAO good practices in order to share and make them visible, promote their scaling or replication and mobilize resources for its financing.

Reports 1, 2, 6 and 8 provide solutions directly linked to the problem of food security and access to basic services, while experiences 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, and 10 are promotion initiatives, all of them to stimulate historically lagging territories. These initiatives are expected to be instruments for generating alliances with strategic partners within the framework of the Hand in Hand initiative to achieve prosperous and inclusive rural societies.
