A governança responsável das florestas e terras estabelece bases que podem possibilitar o desenvolvimento sustentável dos territórios e, neste sentido, as DVGT cumprem um papel importante de instrumento que os países podem se apropriar, adaptar e adotar. But their adoption is hampered by the digital divide which requires significant public investments, improved policy and incentive frameworks to be bridged. Only after that, digital transformation will take place at scale. DAP is meant to assess the country's readiness for this digital transformation by identifying main bottlenecks, opportunities and risks for digital transformation. DAP will thus guide public investment and policy work to accelerate the scaling up of digital transformation.

There is increasing awareness of the need for, and a growing movement to apply, the ecosystem approach to fisheries (EAF) and develop sustainable linkages between climate change adaptation (CCA) and disaster risk management (DRM). Fisheries learning exchanges (FLEs) can be useful for enhancing fisheries management that is guided by these concepts. In the Caribbean there exists little guidance on FLEs that focus on the concepts of EAF, CCA and DRM. Although best practices exist, guidance for designing and implementing suitable exchange programmes is almost non-existent. This report seeks to fill this gap by providing practical guidance. First, concepts are presented...

The goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development that are related to food security and nutrition will not be achieved as long as, in some territories in Latin America and the Caribbean, populations continue to live with malnutrition rates. Economic opportunities in these areas are often limited, public services are scant, and exposure to severe climate events is high. The public policies promoted in the region have had less impact in these historically lagging territories, and there is a pressing need to produce a new agenda of public instruments that address the characteristics of the communities that inhabit them....
