Join a network of like-minded actors through Action Groups

The Platform’s Action Groups are coalitions of stakeholders from various sectors and disciplines across the One Health spectrum, eager to collaborate on specific priorities and areas of interest on AMR. Any Member of the Platform can propose an Action Group at any time. Up to five Action Groups will be established in the first year of the Platform. These Action Groups will be defined jointly following extensive consultation with stakeholders across the Platform.

Action Groups are self-organized and self-paced groups that aim to propose activities, establish targets and set ambitious priorities for tackling AMR, reflected in a workplan on which they will report to the Platform Plenary and Steering Committee.

Within Action Groups, Platform Members will:

  • share knowledge and data from their specific area of expertise;
  • propose actions that would contribute to GAP and NAP implementation;
  • forge partnerships and build networks;
  • develop and provide documentation, data and other evidence requested by the Steering Committee, the Coordinating Team and/or the Plenary.

If you would like to learn more about the Action Groups and are interested in submitting an Action Group proposal, please see the Platform’s operational documents (terms of reference and operational rules). If you have questions, please contact: [email protected];
