One of the key elements to strengthen country capacity for surveillance and monitoring of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and use (AMU) in food and agriculture is to provide a standardized approach to collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and sharing data. In recent years, various initiatives around the world have focused on and supported the generation of AMR surveillance data from the food and agriculture sector.
