This is the final version of the Twenty-Fifth Session of the Asia-Pacific Fishery Commission (APFIC) held in Seoul, Korea, from 15 to 24 October 1996. Major topics discussed were; environmental aspects of responsible fisheries; the state of fisheries and aquaculture in Asia and the Pacific; future role of APFIC in fishery management in the region; and the proposed amendments to the APFIC Agreement and Rules of Procedure.
