The context, strategy, and process followed by the RFLP to facilitate improved processing and marketing of aquatic products in Nusa Tenggara Timur province, Indonesia is detailed. Lessons learned, unexpected benefits, results and recommendations are given.
This case study presents an overview of the context, details the RFLP intervention, gives the results, implementation problems, and recommendations and key lessons learned of RFLP supported pilot activities on improved hygiene practices for aquatic products on board fishing boats, at fish landing centres and along the value chain in Cambodia.

An international post-harvest aquatic product specialist examined the processing sub-sector and the market chain arrangements in Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue provinces of Vietnam for anchovy and scad respectively, and gave recommendations for improvements and suggestions for RFLP output 3 field activities on post-harvest and marketing in Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue provinces of Vietnam.
