Objective

The objective of the BEFS RA technical training is to introduce the BEFS RA tools to academic settings. The training activities will be focused on instructing participants on how to operate various BEFS RA tools through a combination of conceptual discussions and practical exercises. The training agenda aims to cover most of the BEFS RA tools in a five day period. Upon completion of the training, academic institutions in the region will have reinforced their knowledge on the relationship between bioenergy development and the linkages to food security and will be in the position to use the BEFS RA tool set to support the policy decision-making in the region and be ready to become trainers of the tool.
