The main aim of this workshop is to train participants to test the integrity and reliability of food and nutrition data that have been updated, revised and compiled into the SUA for 2009-13. This will enable generation of updated Food Balance Sheets for 2009-13 that are more accurate and reliable than currently available.

Specific Objectives:

1. To train participants the techniques to verify the accuracy of data updated in the country SUA for Nepal, Lao PDR and the Philippines for the years 2009-13.

2. To correct the errors and discrepancies in the updated and revised SUA 2009-13 following established norms.

3. To finalize the validated SUA 2009-13 for Nepal, Lao PDR and the Philippines.
