Regional Programme Closing Workshop for Pro-poor Policy Approaches to Address Risk and Vulnerability at the Country Level

Objectives

To disseminate the latest work on different thematic areas in smallholder inclusive rural poor policy identification, research, development and implementation at country level;
To advocate for the public policy recommendations/options from the project studies for strengthening the risk coping capacity of smallholders in the context of market integration and climate change;
To exchange lessons learnt and cases for improvement of smallholder rural poor living conditions and communities to be productive, profitable and sustainable gained in the programme to multi-stakeholders and other development partners;
To agree on the way forward for integrating programme findings and recommendations into government policy and institutional actions.
