Preliminary Consultation on Monitoring Antimicrobial Resistance in Animal Bacterial Pathogens of Diseased Livestock and Poultry

Objectives

This meeting aims to:

  1. Bring together AMR and clinical bacteriology experts in the region to discuss the context and harmonization of methods for AMR monitoring and surveillance in pathogens from clinically or sub-clinically diseased livestock.
  2. Commence the development of AMR Regional Surveillance Guideline #2.
  3. Identify the ways forward for in the development process for Guideline #2.
