Given the urgent need to take action for biodiversity, it is timely that FAO is developing a strategy to strengthen its capacities to mainstream biodiversity across the agriculture sectors.
A Regional Dialogue for Asia will take place in Bangkok, 17-19 July 2019. FAO Headquarters (HQ) and FAO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (RAP) are joining efforts for the preparation of this meeting. A stocktaking exercise was conducted to identify gaps and needs, and highlight regional experiences on policies, practices, and supporting incentives for biodiversity mainstreaming across agricultural sectors.
