Public agricultural research: the impact of IPRs on biotechnology in developing countries
This expert workshop is organised by FAO in co-operation with the University of Tor Vergata and,among other things, it aims to analyse the effects of intellectual property rights (IPRs) on public biotechnology research & development within the food and agricultural sector of developing countries and the policy issues that these raise. Proceedings will be made available in due course. A small number of observers may be permitted to attend.
