Biosafety Diploma by Distance Learning
An international academically accredited course that lasts 12 months and is based on a combination of distance-learning and on-campus training sessions. The course is targeted at individuals interested in or engaged as biosafety professionals in government agencies or industry. It is also tailored for individuals with an interest in public policy, legal and ethical aspects of biotechnology. The course, supported though a technical cooperation project under the aegis of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), starts tentatively in August 2007 and 30 April is the deadline for registration.
