Postgraduate course in biosafety in plant biotechnology
Taking place as part of a network of regional centres providing comprehensive training in biosafety established by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, this distance learning course lasts for one year and two on-campus periods are foreseen at the Institute of Plant Biotechnology for Developing Countries, University of Ghent, at the beginning and end of the course. It begins end 2007 (exact date to be fixed) and deadline for registration is 1 July. A maximum of 25 students will be accepted. Five scholarships are available, where preference is given to applicants from Africa.
