First international meeting on cassava plant breeding, biotechnology and ecology
Sponsored by the University of Brasilia and the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA). The theme of the meeting is "cassava improvement to improve livelihoods in sub-Saharan Africa and northeastern Brazil". Limited travel grants are offered to young scientists from Africa, South America and Asia.
