Biosafety of GM crops and the evolution of regulatory frameworks: Issues and challenges
A workshop organised by the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology in collaboration with the Associação Nacional de Biossegurança (Brazil), the Secretaría de Agricultura, Ganadería, Pesca y Alimentos (Argentina) and the Red Regional de Bioseguridad, Universidad de las Naciones Unidas. The workshop is aimed primarily at people who will be in a position to review applications for the deliberate release of GM crops. Deadline for applications is 31 March 2007.
