About the event: The International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture: Conservation and Innovation.

Purpose: The International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (the Treaty) promotes and supports the conservation and sustainable use of plant genetic resources for food and agriculture, and the fair and equitable sharing of the benefits arising from their use. This year marks the 10th anniversary of its entry-into-force, reaffirming the commitment by the Treaty community to global food security and sustainable agriculture, particularly in the context of climate change.

Refreshments will be available outside the Iran room from 14:15 onwards
